ERP Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant specializing in ERP software solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the business development strategy, working closely with potential clients to convert qualified leads into long-term business relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring growth and success for the company within the ERP software segment. The position requires someone who can balance strategic planning, client management, and technical knowledge of the product to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the ERP software segment, aligning with company-wide goal.
  • Develop and execute targeted lead generation strategies to attract new business and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Continuously analyze the market to identify growth opportunities within the ERP domain.
  • Prepare and present customized ERP software demos and sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Understand the unique needs of each client and tailor solutions accordingly to increase conversion rates.
  • Develop and deliver clear, persuasive sales documentation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategies and decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Act as the bridge between the client and the company, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on expectations.
  • Address client concerns and feedback to maintain strong, positive working relationships.
  • Focus on revenue generation through closing deals, upselling, and maintaining client loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Continuously track sales performance, report progress to management, and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and closure of sales opportunities.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to engage with clients and influence decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in sales, preferably in the ERP software or technology solutions space.
  • Proven ability to generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term relationships.
  • Strong understanding of ERP solutions, business processes, and client needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering compelling sales proposals, demos, and product documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and competitor activities.
  • Self-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
