Job Requirement
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the ERP software segment, aligning with overall company goals.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Executives, providing guidance and support in achieving sales targets.
- Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Identify and evaluate new market segments and geographic regions for ERP software penetration.
- Develop and execute plans to enter and establish a presence in new markets.
- Continuously review and optimize the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Set ambitious revenue targets and work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve and exceed them.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other technology providers, resellers, and industry influencers to enhance the reach and impact of ERP software sales.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team to enhance the company’s position in the ERP software market.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company while building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Implement best practices for sales methodologies and tools.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, with a focus on ERP software sales.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth understanding of ERP software concepts, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
